Review
This is supposed to be the second reboot of the franchise, but also supposed to be a sequel to 1974's original 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'.  I know I know it's confusing, but it doesn't really matter because it shows you what happened in the original classic during the opening credits.  Seeing clips of the original is the best part of this film unfortunately.  This film does a complete 180 from the original and even the 2003 remake.  I hated the cast other than the very cute Alexandra Daddario, but the acting was pretty weak overall.  The movie was very predictable and just not scary.  The 3D barely even shows up and is not worth the extra dollar or two.  It sounds like I'm just complaining but I do not like what the did to Leatherface by the end of the movie.  If you're a fan of the previous movies in the franchises you will be just as mad as I am.
...AND SIMPLY PUT...NOT WORTH THE MONEY FOR THE 3D OR THE MOVIE.
SKIP IT. D+
