The Raid: Redemption MOVIE REVIEW

The great fight sequences has me putting this one with the likes some of the best martial arts movies ever made.

The Raid: Redemption is just bloody action with some of the best martial arts in a movie that I have seen in the last decade.  The Raid is about a SWAT team sent to infiltrate an apartment building in the Jakarta slums and remove the crime lord who runs it.  Sounds simple enough?  Not quite.  Along the way, they have 30 floors of criminals and thugs who live in the building, that they must fight and kill in order to get to the leader.  The choreography in this movie is great, but some of the fights do seem a little longer than they should be.  Although I feel some of the dialogue could have been better, The Raid is full of violence, guns blazing, broken bones, and guaranteed  "ooh's" and "ahh's"
... AND SIMPLY PUT HIGHLY RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE AN ACTION FAN. B-

Cast: Iko Uwais, Ray Sahetapy, Yahan Ruhian, Doni Alamsyah, Joe Taslim, Pierre Gruno
Director: Gareth Evans
Rating: R for strong brutal bloody violence throughout, and language
The Raid: Redemption is Now Available on BLU-RAY and DVD.
