...AND SIMPLY PUT...'s Oscar Update
Ok everybody, the Oscar nominations are officially out as of yesterday and like some I was a little upset with some of the nominees. I have seen ever major contender already and my Top Films of the Year is updated with the rating that I currently gave each of them (reviews for the remaining films are coming soon). But I have decided to give all Best Picture nominees a second viewing to see if anything changes. I start these second viewings today and will post my reviews along with updated reviews for films that I have already posted reviews on. After I see these 9 films for the second time I will then post my Top 50 of 2012. So stay tuned for updates and new reviews.

Happy 2013!!
In 2012, I started ... And Simply Put ... to share some thoughts on the movies that I had the opportunity to see. Having seen thousands upon thousands of movies in my life and working in video stores for 5 years, I have recommended many movies to people. I started this blog to put my opinions out there, with hopes of one day getting paid to see and review these movies. I love movies.
So in 2013, I am going to dedicate more time to this site and keep it updated. The reviews are going to a little shorter and right to the point. You can read the synopsis of a movie on IMDB, which I will link in my reviews, so I will be doing quick summary with my thoughts.
With 2012 over and over 150 movies seen this year I will be prepping a Top 50 of the Year list along with a Worst of list as I see the last few films of the year.
